CHELSEA is facing the prospect of more disruption among its management team after Roberto Di Matteo confirmed yesterday he will consider his position at the end of the season.

The Chelsea assistant manager signed only a rolling one-year contract last summer when he returned to the club, for whom he was a distinguished player, and he will be free to leave Stamford Bridge should he wish.
