Atletico Madrid ace Luis Perea vows to gun down Celtic after derby defeat - Scottish Daily Record

LUIS PEREA warned Celtic they will pay the price for Atletico Madrid's derby day pain in tomorrow's Europa League clash.
The Hoops' Group I rivals were thrashed 4-1 by Spanish capital rivals Real Madrid at the weekend and are still hurting ahead of their trip to Parkhead.
Colombian stopper Perea has vowed to make it up to his side's suffering fans by dumping Neil Lennon's men.
He said: "It's nearly impossible to live with Real Madrid these days but the first half was positive and we took the lead.
"We have learned some lessons in defeat and now we want to give something back to the fans with European qualification in Glasgow.
"I am convinced the defeat in the Bernabeu won't influence the Celtic game. We are prepared for a battle in Glasgow. We know it won't be easy but I think we can show we are the best team in this Europa League group.
"One point would be sufficient but we want to win this group so we're coming to win. If we beat Celtic it would ensure qualification and give us a boost after the Real Madrid defeat."
Atletico defeated Celtic 2-0 in Spain in the opening match of the group and Perea said: "We have watched videos of Celtic in the last three weeks and they are much improved since that first match in Madrid.
"Naturally, they will be better at home but we can break with our attackers Adrian and Falcao and cause our opponents problems."
Anthony Stokes last night pleaded for a crack at Atletico.
The striker has been left out of several high-profile games since signing for Celtic. But he said: "A win would be brilliant for morale and confidence. We are trying to keep that momentum going."
