Carmelo Anthony Thinks NBA Season Will Be Played, And He And Stoudemire Will Win

"Carmelo Anthony is dying to show off his new physique and sneaker line, but the Knicks' All-Star forward, like the rest of the NBA, is in limbo.

With talks between the league and players association breaking down Thursday in Manhattan, there is no telling if and when the regular season will commence. Anthony, however, remains optimistic that games will be played this year and he's also confident that he and Amar'e Stoudemire will make the Knicks a winner.

"No doubt," said Anthony, who is well-aware that the Knicks went 12-16 following last year's celebrated trade with the Denver Nuggets that brought him to New York. "We won't have a losing record. I haven't had a losing record in eight years.""
