Liverpool FC fans letters on Chelsea win, team spirit and Andy Carroll - Liverpool Echo

WHERE are the few moaners about Kenny now? Once again we can all see the development of our team and squad.

An excellent result at Chelsea and on the upward curve of sustained success. I hope the owner will give Dalglish some cash to spend in January to tweak the team and I also look forward to seeing Stevie again soon in a red shirt.

GOOD to see Andy Caroll run over and be the first to congratulate Martin Kelly – it's little cameo scenes like that give you a priceless insight into the mentality of the team.

It also shows that Carroll understands the team ethic and that he is not taking his lack of matches or quiet start to the season too much to heart.

To those who criticise AC, Hendo & Adam remember the Lesson of Lucas Leiva - Kenny doesn't buy junk - give them time! In Kenny we trust.

WOULD not dare even give Kenny Dalglish £100million to spend based on his recent ventures in the summer (Andy Carroll and Stewart 'very average' Downing – who many of us protested vehemently against his signing and is now proving us all spectacularly right).

We need someone who knows what he is doing in the transfer market to at least take that responsibility from Dalglish. Comoli scares me a lot in that respect after last summer's debacle. and especially if the rumour of Keita, Huddlestone, Taylor and Rodellaga are true. Yes, we have done really well these past three games, but we are still not in the top four yet and are still behind 'crisis' club Chelsea.

Liverpool's Achilles heel over the years have never been games against the big teams but the so-called smaller teams i.e ur Fulhams, Blacburns and Wigans of this world, where they are expected to win. Man U and Chelsea have proved time and again that consistently beating these teams is the key to championship glory considering the amount of times they have come unstuck against Liverpool in recent times. However, there are signs of improvements here and there led mainly by the 'overdue' game times given to the likes of Bellamy, Kyut and Maxi.(instead of KD vainly trying to justify the money spent on obvious technically deficient players, Caroll take a bow again), and the emmergence of Lucas as an integral part to the Liverpool engine room(never tut I will ever say this in a million years, but hope his injury is not serious). My heart is for Liverpool to dine again at Europe's top table, and I hope that we learn quickly the lesson that to do that is through being brave and at least competing to get the best players that we can for this amazing football club to add to what we already have. Cavani and Hazard you are both mightliy welcomed!!

WHAT a game at Chelsea and what a win!

Wow, I've been criticising the squad frequently over their previous performances as I believe in constructive criticism but this was different – very different.

We played like Liverpool used to in the old days – pass-and-move, determination, togetherness, pride in wearing the liver bird.

I just hope that the players will build on this performance. We must win at Fulham next.I hope Lucas' injury isn't serious. He was immense, as were all of the others!

Oh, and who said we were nothing without Suarez?
