Anderson Signs New Contract with Manchester United



Anderson outstanding recent form and undoubted potential has been recognised with a new four-and-a-half-year contract extension, which will keep him at Old Trafford until at least June 2015.

The 22-year-old former Porto player returned in September after suffering a serious knee ligament injury last season.

Anderson told the club's website: "This is the best club to be at and I would like to thank everyone for the great support I have received over the years. I am looking forward to winning many more trophies with this club and I am so pleased to have signed a new contract."

Sir Alex Ferguson said: "Anderson has developed tremendously since joining the club and he has fantastic potential at only 22 years of age. He is going to be a really top player."
