Manchester United onward Wayne Rooney has today released a announcement confirming his yearning to leave Old Trafford.

The ex- Everton striker indicated that his conclusion lies in the fact that he was given no existing proof over the prospect of the Manchester United squad.

"I met with David Gill last week and he did not give me any of the assurance I was seeking about the prospect squad," said Rooney.

"I then told him that I would not be signing a new bond."
