Arsenal Star Nicklas Bendtner: I Waited A Long Time For Manchester City Strike

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner was delighted to cap his return from a long-term groin wound with a goal alongside Manchester City.

Bendtner, 22, sat out the start of the season after under pressure with the knock since previous to World Cup 2010. The Denmark international was introducing to the fray in the 84th minute on Sunday, and went on to slot a fine shot past Joe Hart.

Talking to Viasat, Bendtner stated he had waited for "a long time" to find the rear of the net once more.

"It was unbelievable to score again," Bendtner said.
