Prayag United SC announce squad

Prayag United SC last night at a plush five star hotel in Kolkata through a show introduced their squad for the 2011/12 season. The team is a mix of youth and experience with former India Under-16 coach Sanjay Sen as the head coach. Midfielder Lal Kamal Bhowmick has been named as team captain with Narugopal Hait as his vice-captain.

After all the summer drama United Sports Club had found a new sponsor in city-based Prayag Group of Industries with the club renamed to Prayag United SC and they will want to build on the foundation that the club has build over the last few years in the I-League.

And with the squad assembled for the new season the club could push for local and national titles as their Durand Cup triumph last season showed that they are on the right path.
