• Just like Konami promised at
the beginning of the week, the
first free demo for PES 2012
(Pro Evolution Soccer 2012)
has been released for the PC
and PlayStation 3 platforms, while the Xbox 360 has been
delayed due to "unforeseen
issues."
• PES 2012 is set to be the latest
and greatest installment in
Konami's soccer (football)
simulator series, and will bring
lots of brand new features,
including the innovative
Teammate Control system, and
much more.
• In order to showcase these new
features, the Japanese company
confirmed at the beginning of
the week that not one but two
demos will be released before
the full game is out.
• The first demo has just been
released, based on the preview
builds brought by Konami to
gaming conventions like E3
2011 or Gamescom 2011, while
the second one, which hits in
September, will be based on the
full game.
• "The first demo will be based on
a preview build of the game,"
the company revealed. "While
there will be areas that are
refined, Konami wants PES users
to try out the game’s many new
Teammate Control elements
prior to launch and experience
the realism that Active AI brings
to PES 2012, and which have
been singled out for extensive
praise by the media."
• "The demo will also showcase
the individuality of the many
teams in the game, and users
will be able to pick from six
teams and their playing styles –
Manchester United, AC Milan, FC
Porto, S.S.C Napoli, Santos FC, and
C.A. Panarol – and pit them
against each other in 10-minute
matches. The demo will also
showcase key Challenge
Training elements, where fans
can practice the new control
systems to fully enjoy the game."
• The second PES 2012 demo will
be released in mid-September,
and will properly depict many of
the new features that will
appear in the full game, which is
launched on the PC, PlayStation 3
and Xbox 360 on October 14,
but will also appear for the
PlayStation 2, PSP, Nintendo Wii,
3DS or iOS at a later time.
• Until then, download the first
PES 2012 demo for the PC right
now, from here.
• The First demo is also available for
the PlayStation 3, via the
PlayStation Store, while Xbox
360 owners can't get it right
now, because of the
aforementioned technical
issues.
• Recommended PC System Requirements :
* OS: Windows XP Service Pack 3 and above. Latest Direct X installed
* Video Cards: Nvidia GeForce 6600 and up, ATI Radeon X1300 and above
* RAM: 1 GB minimum. 2GB recommended
