Real Madrid trainer Jose Mourinho is pleased with his side's performance against Ajax in the Champions League on Wednesday and is particularly happy that goalkeeper Iker Casillas was a watcher for most of the game.

Los Blancos begin their European escapade at the Bernabeu with a persuasive 2-0 win against Ajax and shiny on the win Mourinho expressed his happiness at yet one cleaner sheet - Madrid's third in a row in all competition.

"We played well," said Mourinho, according to Realmadrid.com. "We forced a lot and in a very advanced position. We didn't let Ajax to play, and they are used to scheming the ball on an open pitch.
