Official: Chelsea Snap Up Liverpool Ace Fernando Torres In €58.5m Deal
Chelsea has officially finished the sensational £50 million signing of Spain star Fernando Torres from Premier League rivals Liverpool.
The 26-year-old World Cup winner was the subject of rumours and conjecture all through transfer limit day, but has now put pen to document on a five-year-deal at Stamford Bridge.
The relocate saga began in earnest last week when the Reds decline an offer from Chelsea and then rejected a transfer apply for from Torres, insist the player would be required to honor his long-term convention at the club.
In spite of this, discussions flanked by the clubs continued and a close was reached on Monday, allowing the onward to feel a medical and agree individual terms with the reign league champions.

Fernando Torres Takes Swipe At Liverpool: At Chelsea I Can Play At The Level I Am Supposed To
Fernando Torres has confessed his enjoyment having finally completed his £50 million relocate from Liverpool to Chelsea, a club where he senses he will play "at the level I am theoretical to" at the "kind of team I like to play for".
The Spaniard, who became discouraged with life at Anfield having seen two executive changes and the club taken over in a five-year occupancy in which he failed to win any silverware with the Merseyside outfit, presented a transport request after Liverpool cast off Chelsea’s renewed interest in a bid to force a shift to Stamford Bridge.
Along with having accomplished his switch to south London, Torres passed that while the past week had been thorny, he was looking forward to the face up to ahead.

Hull City Sign Man Utd Striker Cameron Stewart
Latest United January Transfer News: Man Utd striker Cameron Stewart transfer to Hull City for an undisclosed fee.
The 19-year-old attacker was on loan at Yeovil Town earlier this season but joined Championship side Hull in November and has since made a string of impressive displays. His loan deal was initially extended until the end of the season, but the Tigers have moved to make the deal permanent.
And Hull have tied him to a contract until 2014, with boss Nigel Pearson saying: "We are absolutely delighted to have secured Cameron permanently.
"He is a player who has shown plenty of promise during his time here and he has a very bright future in the game."

Manchester United duo Rio Ferdinand and Rafael are expected to return from injury, but Michael Carrick continues to struggle with an ankle problem.
Edwin van der Sar, Patrice Evra, and Nemanja Vidic are also expected to return to the starting line-up after sitting out the trip to Southampton.
